Gameplay

Set up the game

  • Each player receives a set of voting tokens (numbered 1-6) and a player board.
  • Shuffle the beautifully illustrated cards and deal 6 cards to each player.

Choose a storyteller

  • In each round, one player becomes the storyteller. The storyteller selects a card from their hand and gives a clue or description about it, without revealing the card.

Select and play cards

  • After hearing the clue, all other players select a card from their hand that they think best matches the clue.
  • Players place their chosen cards face-down on the table.

Guessing and scoring

  • All the played cards, including the storyteller’s, are shuffled and placed face-up.
  • Players secretly vote on which card they think belongs to the storyteller.
  • Points are awarded based on the voting results:
    • If all players or no players guess the correct card, the storyteller receives no points, and all other players score 2 points.
    • If some, but not all, players guess the correct card, the storyteller and those who guessed correctly score 3 points.
    • If a player’s card is chosen by others instead of the storyteller’s card, that player scores 1 point.

Prepare for the next round

  • The role of the storyteller passes to the next player clockwise.
  • All players draw cards to replenish their hand to 6 cards.
