Gameplay
Set up the game
- Place the game board on a flat surface.
- Each player takes 45 train car tokens and four train cards.
- Shuffle the Destination Ticket cards and deal three to each player.
Collect train cards
- On each turn, players can draw two train cards from the draw pile or from the five face-up cards on the table.
- Train cards are used to claim routes on the game board.
Claim routes
- Players can claim a route on the game board by playing a set of train cards of the same color and number as the route.
- Longer routes require more train cards of the same color.
- Players can also use wildcards, represented by locomotive cards, to claim any route.
Complete Destination Tickets
- Players can also score points by completing Destination Ticket cards, which require connecting two cities on the game board.
- Players lose points for any Destination Tickets they fail to complete.
End of the game
- The game ends when one player has two or fewer train car tokens left.
- Players score points for the routes they have claimed and for completing Destination Ticket cards.
- The player with the highest score at the end of the game wins.

Surprisingly simple to learn with a hint of struggle to complete the tickets and sense of fierce competition to claim a route, Ticket To Ride is an amazing game. It has a simple yet addictive gameplay mechanics. Chaos comes in when you have to struggle for an alternate route, which makes it all the more fun. Traveling across multiple cities while building your route, Ticket To Ride takes you on a wonderful journey of fun and excitement.
